Imported when she was three from the world famous SD Farms, Spice made her way to  Finch Farms in March of 2023.  This bay blagdon mare has a refined, elegant head and hair and feather to spare.  Spice is the definition of stallion quality mare.  She gave us a gorgeous filly in 2024 and we are excited to see what she and Willowsway Too Spooky have cooking for spring of 2026.

Fortune was purchased as a two-year old from River Lane Ranch who had imported Fortune as a yearling.  To say we were thrilled that they were willing to part with this black sabino beauty is an understatement. Fortune is one of those mares who was born broke.  Her calm, sweet nature makes her a natural leader in her herd, and the perfect husband horse.  Fortune is one of those mares who produces better than herself.  She has given us two beautiful colts, each with her sweet personality and love of people.  We are excited to see what she has cooking for 2026 with Hidden Gem Gypsies' O'Ryan (sire of our very own Monster Mash).

Willowsway Bounty Hunter, Willowsway Law Breaker, Willowsway Sundance Kid - SD Chanel might be a colt maker, but what a colt maker she is.  We have been following this mare for years and were beyond delighted when she became available.  Imported in December of 2024, carrying a Too Smart foal.  Chanel did not disappoint and gave us an outstanding colt in the spring of 2025.  We are excited to see what she produces when paired with our Too Smart grandson - Willowsway Too Spooky in spring of 2027.

Sometimes the mare you need finds you.  When Willowsway Stud reached out and asked if we would consider adding Big M to our herd we couldn't say no.  Thick, heavy and perfect is how I would describe her, and what she produces.  Imported with a Too Smart baby on board, Big M gave us a stunning filly in 2025 and we can't wait to see what she has cooking with Willowsway Too Spooky for spring of 2026.

Just like we knew she would, Norma Jean has grown up to be every bit as beautiful as her mother - SD Treasure of River Lane Ranch.  This mare is the perfect combination of heart and brain with a beautifully balanced conformation.  Norma Jean was a dream to start under saddle and we look forward with eager anticipation to her first foal in the spring of 2026 with Willowsway Too Spooky.  This will definitely be one to watch for.

Shown at not quite a year, I think it's safe to say that we were absolutely over the moon with our first home-bred filly out of SD Spice of Life by Monashee Toy Story (Buzz).  Feather, hair, bone, balanced conformation and the most perfect, sweet head, Bea is exactly the quality we are striving for in our program.  This filly absolutely defines sweetness and if "joi-de-vivire" had a name it would Bea.  We can't wait to see this filly mature and for what she will bring to our program both in the show ring and as a future brood mare.
